The holy scriptures declare in Psalms chapter thirty three verse twelve that:

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”

I have been praying for America following their recent elections, and the Lord put this scripture into my spirit, a few minutes ago today.

A blessed nation means a healthy , prosperous, peaceful, and a victorious society as mentioned in the Bible during the times of king Hezekiah (2 Kings 20:5-6)

Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. ⁶ And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” ’ ”

A nation whose God is the LORD means a people who honour and worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel) as mentioned in the Bible during the times of prophet Elijah (1 Kings 18:36-37)

And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. ³⁷ Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the LordGod, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”

After the elections, the spiritual guidance for the way ahead, oh America, is to honour, fear and worship the true God of Israel. Put away all idols and cleanse yourselves.

As many as are convicted by the Holy Spirit, may you live a holy life, departing from all evil and setting yourselves apart for God. He is the one who paves way for presidents to lead nations.

I say this because most of my audience reading my posts are from America and I am so delighted to have you following my inspired posts.

I believe God used these posts to prepare you to vote for the right candidates during the recent elections.

I pray for you my audience and for America that God be with you under the new presidency and even there after.

I pray for you that you may be born again, healed, delivered and transformed on daily basis into the image of Christ Jesus, the Son of the living God.

Amen.

When we believe in our hearts that Christ Jesus is the Son of God, and confess with our mouths that God raised Him from the dead to save us from our sins, we become born again (Romans 8:10-13). Born of the Spirit of God (John 1:12-13).

God foreordained us to be His (Ephesians 1:4-6), so even if you are not born again as you read this, God is able to give you the free gift of faith, so that you be born again (Ephesians 2:8). 

Therefore, every predestined believer of Christ Jesus has been given a measure of faith (Romans 12: 3-8). Because only that which is done in faith pleases God (Hebrews 11:6).

So, when you are out and about, look for faith at work.

Where is your faith?

Where is faith being manifested around you?

It is not about your trials, your origin, your circumstances, your challenges, your feelings, your giants, your mountains/ obstacles in life, your battles, and the like. 

It is about “do you have faith that comes from God?”

Every predestined believer of Christ Jesus has a measure of faith to enable one to please God. 

But how do you release that faith within you for action – to win battles around you? (1 John 5:4).

By hearing what Christ Jesus is saying to you when addressing your current situations/ circumstances and, obeying what He tells you to do. 

No mountain is greater than what Jesus Christ tells you (in your spirit) to do.

No sickness, no cancer, no poverty, no lack, no death, no fear of death, no sin, and the like that withstands the gift of faith within us. (Mark 9:23).

Receive that gift of faith then. May the Lord Jesus Christ give you that free gift of faith. May the Holy Spirit enable you to release that gift of faith within you to fight your battles to victory. That you may inherit miracles, signs, wonders, healing and deliverance through Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. 

Loving Father in Heaven, I pray for  this one  reading this truth.

I pray you grant them, a free gift of faith in their situations/circumstances.

May they release the faith to confront their challenges victoriously and fulfil your will in their lives, business, workplace, family, marriage and nations.

May they be pleasing to you as they keep walking by that faith.

And all glory comes back to you. Amen 

A spiritual person (who has been born again, born of the spirit – John 1.12-13) is led by the spirit through intuition (revelation of the Holy Spirit to the innermost intimacies of our being – our spirits).

Let us pray,

“ Father in heaven, I desire today to let go of my flesh, to “deny self and take up my cross and follow Jesus Christ my Lord & Savior” (Matthew 16:24); and allow your Holy Spirit to lead me (my mind, emotions &will) in all ways of this humble life.

Teach me to follow that “still small voice of the Holy Spirit” within me, rather than outer forces that provoke soulish, thoughtless acts.

Holy Spirit, help me to distinguish between the self life & the Spirit, the soul & the Spirit (Hebrews 4:12). May I become a spiritual person, working the works of God by faith, bearing fruits of righteousness: Signs, wonders, miracles, healing, salvation & deliverance following me daily to confirm your Word.”(Mark 16:17,18,20) Amen.

¹⁷ And these signs will follow those who ^[a]believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ¹⁸ they^[b] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”²⁰ And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Mark 16 nkjv.

¹² For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4 niv.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me”. Matthew 16:24 niv.

12But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God. John 1 bsb.

Jesus Christ Promises the Holy Spirit

John 14: 14-17, 26, John 15: 26; John 16: 13-16, 23; Acts 1: 4, 5, 8; Acts 2:1-3; Luke 11:1-13

John 14: 14-17.

If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

If you love me, keep my commandments.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.

Last night, it was almost midnight and I could not fall asleep. I rolled over to get hold of a copy of the Bible that was nearby. And as I was opening pages with no clue which scripture or verse to settle on, I came across a subtitle on the Gospel according to John chapter 14; ‘Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit’

This was not new message to me; but what struck me most was that Jesus mentioned in the chapter that, it is the Father who promises to give the Holy Spirit, and the role of Jesus in this mystery is to ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit to them that believed Him.

What followed this study about the Holy Spirit according to John’s Gospel was   a thought portrayed by Luke;

Luke 11: 1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

Jesus new that the disciples needed the Holy Spirit to pray, but since the Holy Spirit had not yet been given by the Father, Jesus took them through the verses till verse 13 “… how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?’’

After reading these verses, I am like…Ask, Seek, Knock … till the Father gives His promise – The Holy Spirit. And Luke tells us in the book of Acts, God gives the Holy Spirit to them that obey Him. Moreover, he who seeks finds…and that you can persist past midnight till He gives you the Holy Spirit. That it is a sure thing for the Father to give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him.

Now, you and I have a revealed truth to act on; ask the Father to give us the Holy Spirit.

Once the Father acts on His word to give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him, two things will happen straight away as a confirmation that the Holy Spirit has been GIVEN to you after asking the heavenly Father: –

1. You shall receive power (Acts 1:4,5,8)
2. You shall speak in new tongues (Acts 2:1,2, 3)

You must be born again; in order to receive the Holy Spirit. Surely the worldly cannot receive the Holy Spirit (John 14:17). And when you are resisting this revelation and do not want to act on it, know that it is an opposition from the enemy-the devil- that is keeping you off.

Say this prayer to be born again;

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you came and died on the cross to restore me back to the Father. I choose today to be born again, born of God, and born of the Spirit. As scripture says, as many as received Christ, who believed in His name, He gave them the power to become children of God (John 1:12, 13). Lord Jesus, I receive you as my Lord and Saviour. Today I am born again, my sins are forgiven and I have eternal life through Christ. I no longer belong to the devil and his works. My past is all gone and I have become a new creation in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17). Amen
