My late parents were unbelievers in Christ Jesus. They had a form of godliness but lacked the power thereof.
So I was the first one in the family to believe in Christ and be born again. This meant being freed from all traditions of men and following Christ daily through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. [su_custom_gallery source=”media: 89″]
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2
The innermost being within me, must be transformed daily, day after day!
This means as long as I am alive today, there things to die to , so that news things take form. That is letting go, putting off, mortifying, …. anger, bitterness, unforgiving….By the end of today, I will be a better person than I was yesterday. More joy, love, peace, patience, faithfulness, gentleness, goodness, kindness, and self-control- the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22)
Ohh to be more like Christ Jesus , my Lord and Saviour, who bought me and ransomed me on the cross.
“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.”
