“The last enemy to be destroyed is death.” 1 Corinthians 15:26
I get surprised when time and again, we are confronted with this mysterious enemy, death, that leaves us emotionally drained and helplessly, dumbfounded.
Yet, death is already a defeated enemy. Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God overcame death, that we who believe in Him should reign with Him over death.
“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
We must not fear death, but instead we must address it with a sober mind and a prayerful heart full of faith, truth and grace!
I am amazed that as human beings, we are caught up in “the valley of the shadows of death“, naively. Fight it ! It is an enemy! Death is not a friend. Say,
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”Psalm 118:17.
The Lord is teaching me to “number my days“, and at the same time to pray to Him for a gift of a long life. What is the benefits of dying young before your time?
But he who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. (ESV) Ecclesiastes 9:4–5
In conclusion:
Repent of your sins.
Be born again by believing in Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. He is our Eternal Life.
Fight against death! Resist it! Flee from fears of death.
Pray to the Heavenly Father for a gift of long life – good health, soberness, soundness of body, soul and spirit.
Pass this truth to others and encourage them to be sober and alert against our last enemy, death.
“Father in heaven, this day I am willing to cooperate once again with the Holy Spirit by putting to death the works of the flesh, moment by moment till I be taken out of this earth (the Rapture of the Church according to the Scripture). I desire LORD to live a holy life and walk in (be filled with, and be led by) the Holy Spirit; that I may be able to please you through my lifestyle, thought line, habits, behaviors, talks, desires, motives, attitudes, imaginations, affections and relationships. That I may be an example to others and be effective in making disciples within my sphere of influence on daily basis.”
There is an outcry of the Holy Spirit to make disciples as we approach the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul says inPhilippians 4:9 “…those things you have seen and heard from me, do them and the peace of God will be with you”. That is, the Lord requires you to be an example to those He has put into your life that they may learn from you, and imitate you as you imitate Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1.
Yet there are obstacles we face on daily bases that deter us from being effective in our disciple – making mandate (Matthew 28:19). The flesh and its desires are behind these obstacles. Paul mentions in Galatians 5: 17“… the flesh fights against the Spirit, keeping you from doing the things you want to do.” Also in Romans 7: 19 “… For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.”
The battles within that you have been facing as a believer are flesh related-the flesh fighting against the Spirit. You must yield to the Holy Spirit on daily bases and lean upon Him to empower you to overcome the flesh and put to death its works. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you must deaden the flesh, mortify it, and put off the old self Ephesians 4:22- 32.
Say this prayer by faith,
“Holy Spirit, I welcome you into my life. I realize I cannot do anything in this life without you. I die to self, daily, that Christ may be manifested through my living. I believe I am crucified with Christ on the cross, and that I no longer live, but Christ lives in me through faith.” (Galatians 5:20).
“Holy Spirit, take over my life style and glorify Christ through me. Empower me to make disciples of those you are connecting me with. Thank you, Holy Spirit, my friend, my Teacher and my Lord. Amen”.
In Matthew chapter four verse nineteen, Jesus calls the first two disciples, that is, Simon Peter and his brother Andrew. These two were fishermen by trade and therefore, Jesus sermoned them in terms they could understand, “Come! Follow Me ! And I will make you fishers of men.”
I hear today Jesus Christ calling you with authority and power ! Come ! Follow Me ! This authoritative outcry from the Master makes you be detached immediately from your present sphere of interest; and be attached to Him as your leader to be taught of Him continually on how to bring in souls into the Kingdom of God.
“... I will make you fishers of men.” Today, Jesus Christ desires to make you to catch men and women out of the captivity of satan into Eternal Life right within your occupation. He will equip and empower you to harvest souls into His Kingdom in line with your day to day experience.
Jesus Christ desires that you lay aside those qualities and behaviours that are hostile to soul winning experience…bitterness, anger, self centred-ness, un-forgiveness, pride … He desires to mould, break, melt and prepare you for a mighty harvest of souls. He desires to renew your mind... He desires to baptise you with fire and with the Holy Spirit and become a flame for Him in soul winning.
I get excited to inform you , when the Holy Spirit started ministering these thoughts to me , my witnessing Christ to others has rapidly accelerated… A Chinese in Shanghai, China contacted me on whatsapp saying she was to contact her friend in Melbourne , but the message went to the wrong number( mine). And when I shared that I am a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, she said it is very interesting to be a preacher. I quoted Genesis 1:1 to her in Chinese language , and she said it was so hard for her to understand the Bible, that only preachers understand it. I pray she be a preacher so she understand the Bible.
The Lord Jesus Christ desires to fill you with wisdom, revelational truths- equipping you to win souls to Him. And He will connect you with the right people for soul winning so that you work as a team – the Body of Christ.
Father, in heaven, I pray for these ones reading these revealed truths, that they may be soul winners for Your Son Jesus Christ… that many will be comforted and give You glory Father. In Jesus Christ’s name and authority we pray, Amen.
Raising the Standards of Holiness in the Land of the Living
Beloved, I desire to share with you the mind of the Father in heaven as revealed by His Holy Spirit to the Body of Christ Jesus, a timely word in due season, to establish you in Christ Jesus, preparing you for the end-times events that will usher in the Second Coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the King of the Jews!
I reveal to you a mystery of the Kingdom of God regarding Christ’s Return: only those perishing will be caught unawares as the Scriptures say,
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night…But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” 1 Thessalonians 5:1, 2, 4, 5
The Spirit of the Lord is addressing the Body of Christ through this media of communication: Raise the Standard of Holiness while Still Alive, awaiting Christ’s Return”.
Holiness is a requirement in these last days as a virtue, as a garment; and we have been called unto holiness – set apart, consecrated as God’s own possession as we await the Messiah, King of the Jews. We are not to touch anything unclean, nor utter unclean words with our lips, nor defile ourselves with the flesh (the old sinful uncircumcised nature before conversion to Christ Jesus); we are not to associate ourselves with forbidden things lest we grieve the Holy Spirit.
The enemy of our souls fights spiritually against all these truths, leading us astray to compromise the Scriptures, become lukewarm, lose faith in Christ, despise the truth, pursue vanities of this life outside God’s presence, backslide, slumber, lose the focus in Christ, lose hope and vision of glorious things to come that are hidden in natural realm yet revealed through the Spirit in spiritual realm. Should you say in your heart, “Yes Lord Jesus Christ, I am slack in this area, I do not perceive, help my unbelief, make me holy from today on-wards.”
Receive Jesus Christ today as Our Lord and Savior, else that day catches you unawares. If we are to remain till He comes back, then we must seek and purse holiness without which no one shall see God ( Hebrews 12:14) manifesting in this life, career, finances, ministry, marriage, and family and in health and mental issues. Say, “Lord Jesus Christ, I am a sinner and I need a Savior. I believe you are the Son of God, and that you died on the Cross for my iniquities. Today, I accept you into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Write my name in the Book of Life. I believe from now on I am forgiven, I have Eternal Life, I am a child of God, I am born again, born of God, born of the Spirit, born from above (John 1:12,14). Now baptize me with your Holy Spirit and with Fire (Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4) that I may live a holy life till you come back. Amen.”
And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.Isaiah 35:8-10
